Important Rate Adjustment Notice

April 23, 2025

As previously advised, due to the increased cost of providing water to our customers, a rate adjustment has become necessary. On March 26, 2025, the Highlands Water Board of Directors approved the following rate changes:

Base Rate Increase: $2.00 (4.8%), bringing the 5/8” residential meter rate to $43.66 per month.
Consumption Rate Increase: $2.00, raising the per unit cost to $8.50 per 100 ccf (748 gallons).

These new rates will take effect May 1, 2025
